Lenham adjustable height commode from Aidapt Bathrooms Ltd.

An Urgent Field Safety Notice has been issued realting to the modification of the VR231 Lenham adjustable height commode manufactured in November 2008.

The issue with the Lenham Commode does not affect the other models of commodes that Aidapt supply.

This problem relates to batch number AE08/11 On each product there is an easily recognizable grey batch label located on the front bar.

According to the safety notice, there is a possibility in certain circumstances that the castor can become detached from the extension leg.

The advice is to ensure that all affected commodes are withdrawn from the community/customers and retained in quarantine, to contact Aidapt and arrange for an exchange of the extension legs/ castors of the affected commodes.

The company is aiming to complete the corrective action within 15 working days of any affected product being reported to them.
