A new mobility store has opened on the South Coast, marking the tenth store for retailer CareCo.

The company’s expansion comes with the rising demand for affordable mobility products like scooters, powerchairs, adjustable beds and rise & recline chairs.

Mayor of Southampton Councillor Barnes-Andrews and William Harrison, CareCo Managing Director, both attended the store’s opening.

William told the Hampshire Chronicle that he believes bricks and mortar stores are important in the mobility industry.

“It’s always best to come and try out products for yourself, like test driving mobility scooters,” he continued. “We’ve very knowledgeable advisors who can demonstrate the features of each item and help customers find the right product for their needs.

“Our Southampton showroom is our best store yet.

“Southampton has a very good reputation for supporting successful store launches and we know that there is a lot of potential demand within the area for mobility products, so it was a logical choice for our landmark 10th store.”

In addition, CareCo’s Southampton store has created three jobs.

Established for over 13 years, CareCo aims to offer high-quality products at an affordable price, with an ethos of providing excellent customer service.
