Vivid Care brand changeAfter 50 years in business, family-run healthcare equipment supplier Yorkshire Care Equipment is to unveil a new name and corporate logo as part of an extensive rebranding initiative.

The company is to change to Vivid.Care on the 21st November, with the aim of better serving their growing clientele.

Tristan Hulbert, Managing Director said “Over the past three years, we’ve invested heavily in staff and new product development, and we now have our seating, falls and rehabilitation products in homes and hospitals across the UK and abroad.

“We’ve become a key equipment supplier to the NHS, and whilst the original Yorkshire Care Equipment name has served us well, it no longer reflects the range of important work we do in the healthcare sector”.

The company offered support to the NHS Nightingale Hospital setup programme during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic and is now helping the NHS tackle its growing patient waiting list, speed up hospital discharge rates, and improve ambulance response times though an innovative product offering.

Tristan added: “It’s incredible what an impact our focus on product R&D has done to help the NHS and other providers improve patient care. For example, we collaborated with healthcare professionals which helped us identify existing issues and barriers to care. We found that multi-user environments needed a care chair that could care for a wide set of conditions and meet the needs of a range of people.

“This led to the creation of the Lento care chair that is fully adjustable without tools to fit 80% of the population. This means that it can be customised within seconds for each individual and can be reused time after time making it ideal for multi-user environments.”

Vivid Care will continue to work with healthcare professionals to develop further products, with new specialist chair launch announcements due to be announced within the next few months.

Despite the significant growth plans, the equipment supplier retains its mission: ‘to enhance quality of life’ and will still serve the general public through its Harrogate based showroom, home assessment service, and new website.

Tristan concludes: “Our aim is to improve as many lives as we possibly can. That’s why we have multiple teams working with private individuals, hospital trusts, local authorities, and other care organisations, to ensure every sector gets the one-to-one care and support they’ve come to know and expect from us.”

Vivid Care will launch at the OT Show in Birmingham on 23rd and 24th November where it will display its Lento specialist chair range along with Raizer falls response chair.

Vivid Care is a healthcare equipment partner focused on product innovation, logistics and delivery and the ancillary aftercare services that offer our partners peace of mind. Vivid Care is committed to enhancing lives through advanced healthcare equipment. More information on the company’s transformation to Vivid.Care and plans for the future can be found on its new look website.
