Open to both members and non-members, the British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) is preparing to hold its 10th annual industry golf day this July, providing attendees an opportunity to network and socialise at the prestigious Blackwell Golf Club in Bromsgrove.

Described as a networking opportunity for companies’ staff, guests and customers, the golf day aims to bring broad section of professionals together to socialise and understand each other’s’ issues in a relaxed environment according to the Association.

Sponsored by ICB, the event also provides attendees an opportunity to meet with senior management at the organisation and hear about insurance possibilities, as well as non-members of the BHTA to find out more about the Trades Association.

Discussing the event, Ray Hodgkinson MBE, Director of Public Affairs at the BHTA, commented: “The BHTA Golf Day has provided members with an opportunity to come together, understand issues, share opportunities, do business and simply enjoy a day with colleagues.”

The Association says only four team spaces are now available at a cost of £70 per person, with the event being held on the 18th July.

Ray continued: “The day demonstrates the BHTA as a large effective organisation within which members, their customers and their staff can work together in everyone’s interests, as well as a chance to remember Phil Isherwood; an avid golfer who did so much for BHTA members and led high standards.

“We launched the Phil Isherwood Cup which can be won on the day, amongst other prizes which are also awarded.”
