5th UK Stroke Forum Conference
Healthcare professionals working in stroke care and research across the UK are being invited to attend the fifth annual UK Stroke Forum on the 30 November to 2 December 2010 at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre, Glasgow, Scotland.
Hosted by The Stroke Association this is the largest UK multidisciplinary stroke conference of the year. All pre-registered delegates can attend one of three FREE training sessions being run by The National Stroke Nursing Forum with the Scottish Stroke Nurses Forum, The British Association of Stroke Physicians and The Multidisciplinary Rehabilitation team.
The UK Stroke Forum is a coalition of over 30 organisations all working to improve stroke care across the UK. Members include organisations from stroke research, education, service delivery and patient organisations. Over 1,600 attendees are expected to visit the 2010 UK Stroke Forum Conference which includes a large exhibition area
This year the programme includes a variety of plenaries, interactive workshops and parallel sessions.
Poster displays and a busy exhibition run alongside the conference as well as the Ideas Fair which is an interactive display of new ideas in stroke research, technology and best practice.
Call for Abstracts is open from 26 April to 18 June 2010.
The conference is accredited, includes CPD points and is endorsed by The World Stroke Organization.
The deadline for Early Bird Registration is 1st August 2010.
